We understand that artwork labor can seem very pricey, but "easy on the pocket" artwork, from inexperienced print shops or recreational artists, can be even more costly. If their shirts do not sell, even the most economical artwork becomes very expensive. Our goal is to create designs that sell. In most cases, our shirt designs sell out at events, creating a big profit, not an expensive loss. Great print designs require great artwork and great artwork requires a considerable amount of time. Quality artwork is worth every dollar.

Artwork Proofs

The artwork is created especially for you, the customer. We want you to be happy with every aspect of the design. In order to make this possible, our artists will require your help. Please, feel free to request elements in the design, or submit your own ideas. We will draw what you imagine. Along the way, we will require your approval of the image. This is done with an artwork proof. A copy of the image is sent to you, generally by fax (if you require the proof sent some other way, please specify when talking to an artist). Usually, two proofs are sent. One is in black and white, to show the basic shape of the design. The second is in full color. The customer must sign and date the proof, indicating that he/she is pleased with the design, and the printing process can begin. However, once the artwork proofs have been signed, any additional changes to the design requested by the customer cannot be made without additional artwork charges. Custom Artwork Pricing

In order to make great affordable artwork available to you, ArtBeat's expert artists are ready to create and design custom images, logos, and anything else you need for your business, family event, or any other special occasion. The process to create first-class artwork that is beautiful and eye-catching requires the client to provide creative input and suggestions. The client will be provided with artwork proofs, or low-resolution graphics. These are to be signed by the client, agreeing that ArtBeat can proceed to print the shirt. Please remember to spell check any text and double check the design, making sure that it is to your liking.

Hot Rod and Automotive Events

ArtBeat, Inc. is famous especially for its hot rod and automotive event t-shirts. For these events, we have special pricing available here.

We want to make great artwork affordable to you. Therefore, ArtBeat offers two types of artwork packages. Each provides the exact same high quality artwork for you, the customer. The differences are explained below.

BASIC PRE-DRAWN PACKAGE
The customer selects vehicles from our massive collection of pre-drawn hot rod, car, truck, and motorcycle images. The images are then colored and shaded to the client's request. The customer can submit or request elements, such as a theme and/or object and text to be added as a basic background. Customer will be provided with two proofs for sign off before the final design is completed. The first proof is a black and white line art. The second proof is a full color low resolution layout. However, once a proof is signed off, changes cannot be made without additional charges.

PREMIUM CUSTOM DRAWN PACKAGE
Customer is allowed creative input throughout the whole artwork process. The client is encouraged to supply photos or high resolution jpeg files for the desired vehicles. They can also submit elements for the background, including text and font selection. Customer will be provided a minimum of two proofs for sign off before the final design is completed. The first proof is a black and white line art. The second proof is a full color low resolution layout. Our artist will ensure you are happy with all aspects with the design before it is completed. However, once a proof is signed off, additional changes cannot be made without additional charges.

Copyright and Other Information

ARTWORK DISCOUNT SCHEDULE
When placing a screen printing order using the artwork created for you, the following artwork discounts apply. This applies for artwork labor only, as listed above; void with any other special offer, discount, coupon, or promotion.

ARTBEAT COPYRIGHT POLICY AND ARTWORK AGREEMENT
All graphics and designs created by ArtBeat, Inc. are copyrighted by ArtBeat, Inc. ArtBeat retains the sole rights and ownership of all artwork designs created by its artist(s) and artwork department. The customer is given permission to use the artwork designed for them on promotional publications, such as fliers, posters, newspapers, magazines and dash plaques. Any other use of a graphic or design is strictly prohibited without prior authorization in writing from our office. If the customer wishes to purchase the sole rights and ownership of the artwork, please contact ArtBeat, Inc. for pricing (1-800-578-2328).

ARTWORK LABOR PRICE QUOTE - GENERAL RULE
ArtBeat, Inc. provides the above artwork price quotes in good faith. We pride ourselves in keeping our promises and price quotes. However, it must be recognized that there may be those special occasions where, due to an unreasonable number of charges or the indecisiveness of a customer or "committee," additional artwork labor charges will apply. Those charges will be communicated and explained when necessary. ArtBeat, Inc. reserves the right to be selective of our customers, and the artwork and printing we do. ArtBeat, Inc. reserves the right to discontinue any artwork project for any reason, if they deem the customer is unreasonable.

TERMS OF PURCHASE
First time customers will be required to pay a 30% deposit on all artwork labor charges before artwork labor begins. Established customers can apply for a net 30 account. For more information, please contact our office.
